Aquatica Texas - SeaWorld San Antonio
SeaWorld San Antonio has confirmed that its new water park, Aquatica Texas, will open to the public for the first time on May 19, 2012. The Aquatica Texas opening date will fall just before the Memorial Day weekend, when SeaWorld San Antonio is likely to be swamped by huge crowds. It will replace the closed Lost Lagoon water park, and will cover an 18 acre site. Guests will be required to pay an additional entry fee to visit the new attraction, which was not the case for the previous park. Like the original Aquatica in Orlando, Aquatica Texas will combine elements of a traditional water park with SeaWorld’s signature marine life exhibits.
