Legoland Florida - “Brick-or-Treat’ 2012
LEGOLAND Florida has announced that it will host its first-ever Halloween event in 2012, dubbing it “Brick-or-Treat”.
Halloween activities at the recently-opened park will include trick-or-treating, costume contests and a competition to build the best Halloween-style LEGO model. An enormous LEGO Jack-O-Lantern will also be installed at the park throughout the celebrations, which will take place each Saturday and Saturday in October.
The park’s signature attraction, Miniland USA, will be given a Halloween overlay during the events. Guests at LEGOLAND Florida will be challenged to search for goblins, ghosts and other scary beings hidden amongst the area’s LEGO recreations of famous landscapes from the Las Vegas Strip to the skylines of New York.
The Brick-or-Treat festivities will be included with the standard price of admission to LEGOLAND Florida. The Winter Haven park recently announced a prize freeze for summer 2012, as it looks to tempt guests away from rival parks in Orlando, which is located around an hour’s drive away.
