Disneyland Paris - Disney Dreams

For the 20th Anniversary of Disneyland Resort Paris, Disney Imagineers from around the world came together to produce one of the greatest Disney nighttime spectaculars ever! I saw this show for the first time in March and it combines all the good elements of your favourite Disney shows including Fantasmic, World of Colour and ‘Magic, Memories and You’.

I have a video like this on my youtube channel but I just love this version with it’s awesome sound quality!

Disneyland California - Glow with the Show

Last week, the brand-new Glow With the Show Ears were announced at Disneyland’s California Adventure. From the Mad T Party, to Cars Land and more, these new ears make park guests a part of the show like never before. In the video above, watch as the entire World of Colour audience lights up and glows with the show! Be sure to grab your own “Glow With the Show” Ears on your next visit to Disney California Adventure park – they are available for $25 (tax included) at locations throughout the park, including Los Feliz Five & Dime, Off the Page, Seaside Souvenirs and many merchandise carts.

Disneyland California - Brave to be added to WOC
@Disneyland
Disney has revealed that a new sequence based on Pixar’s upcoming movie Brave will be added to the World of Color show at Disney California Adventure.
The new addition to the night-time spectacular will make its debut on June 15, 2012, the same day that the Cars Land expansion and Buena Vista Street entrance area are due to open. As with World of Color’s existing scenes, a combination of water and fire effects, projections and music will be used to create the sequence.
Brave will tell the story of Merida, a Scottish archer who rebels against traditional customs and becomes subject to a curse. The World of Color scene will be set to Patrick Doyle’s score for the film, and will feature Merida racing across the Highlands on her horse, Angus.
Disneyland will also welcome a new addition based around the character, with Merida set to appear at a Highlands-themed meet-and-greet area close to the It’s a Small World attraction. The movie itself will open in US theaters on June 22, 2012.

Disney’s California Adventure - World of Color

Tom Staggs, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, said in a speech that the upcoming Pixar movie, “Brave,” could be featured in “World of Color,” the nighttime water and light show at California Adventure.

“You shouldn’t be surprised to see something from ‘Brave’ … in the not too distant future,” Staggs said at a speech at the Orange County Business Council’s dinner Thursday.

Suzi Brown, a Disneyland Resort spokeswoman, said no date has been set for an addition to “World of Color.”

‘Brave’ has a slated release of June 2012 which is expected to be the date of addition to World of Color, possibly as a marketing tool for guests visiting the resort. Disney has added a number of additional and temporary scenes to World of Color since it’s debut in 2010, most being for special events.

World of Color has to be my all time favourite Disney show, and the constant updating of it’s film footage just puts it at the forefront of Disney parks higher end imagineering success.

On November 11th 2011, the phenomenal World of  Color celebrated its 1,000th performance. Since the nighttime spectacular debuted in June 2010, the show – conceived as a kind of “living ‘Fantasia’” has used music, animation, color, light and water to amaze millions of guests at Disney California Adventure park.

California Adventure is apparently preparing a special Holiday version or Holiday Segment addition to the World of Color show. A captured webcam picture (above) shows off a giant holiday Gingerbread man being projected onto one of the water screens late one night this week.

The time has finally come!! After almost a month of waiting I have begun the process of uploading the videos from my recent trip to California. First up is my favourite Disney show in the entire world, World of Color, filmed at Disney’s California Adventure!

I apologise for the quality of the video, I didn’t go prepared and the boy in front decided to stand right in the way! I hope you enjoy it anyway.
